Stephanie is a Class of 2013 Early Graduate at Braden River High School. Upon meeting Stephanie I knew her Senior Portrait Session was going to be different, different good. She is an edgy girl and I was excited to show that in her senior photos. Stephanie enjoys photography, cosmetology, and the outdoors. She was going for an urban look for her senior photos, but also wanted to include nature and her outdoorsy-ness (is that a word? it is now).

Stephanie brought 3 outfits to her senior session, a dress, a jumper, a skirt, and shirt. Her outfit choices were perfect, 2-3 outfits is usually the magic number with seniors. She also was sure to accessorize. Stephanie wore a necklace and bracelet with one outfit and changed shoes with each outfit. Her outfits were from Delias, Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. She did her hair and makeup herself, which I think looked fab!

Stephanie’s tips to prepare for a senior photo session is, “Really think hard of the way you want your photos taken and where, because they are yours and you will have them forever. You want to look back and be able to say, Wow I really enjoyed taking these and I look great!”

At first I could tell Stephanie was a little nervous, but as soon as we got going she opened up and relaxed. Stephanie says, “I was nervous at first but Christina was great, really nice, friendly, and fun to work with.” I’m glad she thought so, I had such a fun time with her as well. We walked all up and down Bradenton’s River Walk, and then hit a few cool spots in Downtown Bradenton, and ended her senior session at Palma Sola Botanical Gardens. All of these spots really suited Stephanie’s style. It was fun hunting for cool little spots downtown too!

Stephanie’s advice to other seniors, “Get them done how you want, not the way other get their senior photos taken, be unique, and don’t be afraid to tell people what you want.”
